Description: The Event Support Supervisor is responsible for the hiring, training and scheduling of the Event Support Crew. The Event Support Supervisor obtains all applicable information relating to scheduled events during weekly Production Meetings, and is responsible for diagramming event floor plans and specific instructions for the crew to follow.

The student will learn various skills relating to the sound and lighting systems. The ability to work with people, in a variety of situations, is an important skill for the Event Technical Support Crew. Students with at least two years remaining at Western preferred. Must have a valid a Washington Drivers License and at least two years of driving experience.
Description: The Event Technical Supervisor is a resource person for all events requiring the use of Viking Union sound, lighting or video systems. The Event Technical Supervisor will coordinate appropriate event personnel and system operation as requested by the Event Services Manager. The Event Technical Supervisor, with advisement from the Event Services Manager, will manage the training of Event Technical Crew members.
Description: The Viking Union Art Gallery is a center of relaxation where a WWU community member can browse through an art exhibit. The Gallery is programmed quarterly by the A.S. Productions Gallery Coordinator. The Gallery attendant is responsible for insuring the safety of the exhibit, as well as reminding users that food and beverages are not allowed in the gallery.

Description: Assistants will help the Manager in the maintenance of the facility, equipment, grounds and building. Most work will be outdoors in all weather and will often be physically demanding. Transportation to Lakewood not provided. Familiarity with common landscape tools and all of the water sports equipment at Lakewood will be helpful.
Description: The Viking Union has been designated as the Lost and Found Center for the campus. Items will be periodically forwarded from the various departments and buildings and held for two quarters, at which time they will be sold to the general public. In addition, the VU provides a variety of both online and bulletin board services for the campus community.

Description: The Viking Union vehicle maintenance person(s) will be responsible for cleaning, preventative maintenance checks, and mileage verifications for the VU/A.S. vehicle motor pool, filling in for the Day Custodian when he is at lunch, and checking campus banner locations.
