VU Posting Guidelines

Please see the Publicity Center for lists of posting boards on and around campus.

WWU provides students with established locations for posting both university and non-university related materials. Boards located in the vicinity of the Viking Union, as well as all glass-enclosed boards on campus are reserved for posting by the AS Publicity Center ONLY. These areas may be used for either university or non-university materials, but must be approved and placed by AS Publicity Center staff. By maintaining a few monitored and reserved posting areas, the Viking Union hopes to provide students with complete information relevant to student needs which is more organized, less redundant, and hierarchically chosen* than many other posting areas on campus. Commercial and private postings are not accepted for distribution on reserved boards or to the residence halls. They are allowed on non-reserved boards elsewhere on campus. If you'd like to have private postings such as "for sale", "roommate" or similar advertisements posted, please drop off information with the Lost & Found office in the Viking Union, or leave with receptionist in Viking Union 535. Materials to be posted on reserved boards in and around the Viking Union, and or in the residence halls may be dropped off with the Information Coordinator, VU 535 - 10 and 33 copies in 535.
