For browsers on Windows computers, regardless of which browser you're using, you can quickly clear browsing data by holding Ctrl + Shift + Delete. For browser-specific information, please take a look below.



For browsers on Apple / Mac OS computers, you can quickly clear browsing data by holding Command ⌘ + Shift + Delete regardless of which browser you're using. For browser-specific information, see below.



Chrome:

  1. Launch your Chrome browser
  2. Click on the 3 vertical dots on your browser toolbar and go to Settings.
  3. On the left pane, select Privacy and Security. 
  4. In the privacy and security area, click on Clear browsing data
  5. In the Clear browsing data box, change the Time range drop-down to All time
  6. Make sure the basic tab is highlighted, and the 3 boxes are checked
  7. Click Clear data
  8. Restart your Chrome browser

 

Edge:

  1. Launch your Edge browser
  2. Click on the 3-lined Hub button in the top right corner
  3. Click on Settings
  4. Go down to Clear browsing data
  5. Click on Choose what to clear
  6. You will see the following items available:
    • Browsing history
    • Cookies and saved website data
    • Cached data and files
    • Tabs I've set aside or recently closed
    • Download History
    • Form Data
    • Passwords
    • Media licenses
    • Website permissions
  7. Select the first four options listed above to clear and click on the Clear button
  8. Restart your Microsoft Edge browser

 

Firefox:

  1. Launch your Firefox browser
  2. Click the menu button (the three vertical lines) and choose Options
  3. Click on Privacy & Security
  4. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data...
  5. Close the about: preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
  6. Restart your Firefox browser
