The BGK Community (The Ridge)

The BGK Community (composed of the Ridgeway dorms Beta, Gamma and Kappa) is set on a hill overlooking central campus and is only a few minutes away from most classrooms and a short drive from downtown Bellingham and Fairhaven. The community offers residents access to laundry rooms in Kappa 128, Beta 814 and Gamma 314, and to 13 lounges that offer TV, gaming & Foosball, and large floor space. Additionally, there is a sauna in Beta 514, three computer labs, and vending machines near Beta 814 and Gamma 314. Residents are welcomed to attend events set up by hall council leadership, such as karaoke nights, the annual Piccadilly dance, MarioKart, Mash Mixer, wellness events, social justice programming, game nights, movie nights and academic support events.

Birnam Wood Community

The Birnam Wood Community offers Gender Inclusive rooms, and gives its residents access to a main lounge that includes a TV and a piano. There are two laundry rooms for resident use in the Community Building and  Stack 1, vending machines near Community Building 101, a computer lab in Common Building 101, and a BBQ Picnic area outside the common area. Residents can attend community events set up by hall council leadership, such as karaoke nights, the annual Piccadilly dance, MarioKart, Mash Mixer, wellness events, social justice programming, game nights, movie nights and academic support events.

Buchanan Towers Community

In the Buchanan Towers Community, residents can access 7 different dining, TV, gaming, piano, quiet, and study lounges,a computer lab in 114, and the POD Market Buchanan Towers Classic, where they can grab a quick bite to eat. Additionally, residents can attend community events that include karaoke nights, creativity for a cause, Lakewood picnics and watersports, dodgeball tournaments, intramural sports, social justice programming, movie nights, wellness week, community service opportunities and academic support events.

Edens- Higginson Community

Composed of the Edens Hall, Edens North and Higginson Hall dorms, the Edens-Higginson Community provides residents with access to seven different lounges, some of which include quiet study areas, pool and ping-pong tables, TVs, a piano and a fireplace. The community offers many more resources including a computer lab in Higginson Hall 294, vending machines near Edens North 134 and Higginson 161, and two laundry rooms in Edens North 245 and Higginson Hall 161. On top of this, residents can attend events such as karaoke nights, the annual Piccadilly dance, super bowl parties, an international potluck, social justice programming, wellness events, game nights, movie nights, academic support events and more.

Fairhaven Complex Community

In the Fairhaven Complex Community, residents have access to Main and stack lounges, some of which include quiet spaces, a piano, TVs, foosball, ping-pong and pool tables. There is a computer lab located in the Fairhaven Commons 107, a laundry room on the third floor of every stack,and vending machines and the POD Marketplace in the Fairhaven Commons, where students can grab a bite to eat. Residents can attend hall council community events that include karaoke nights, creativity for a cause, Lakewood picnics and watersports, dodgeball tournaments, intramural sports, social justice programming, movie nights, wellness week, community service opportunities and academic support events.

Mathes Community

In the Mathes Hall Community, residents have access to many different study and lounging areas including two sundecks and 10 different study lounges, some of which have a TV, ping-pong tables, a fireplace and a grand piano. Additionally, there is a computer lab in Mathes 913, a laundry room in Mathes 11, and there are vending machines near Mathes 132 and 13. Students can also find community at Hall events set up by the hall council, such as karaoke nights, the annual Piccadilly dance, MarioKart, Mash Mixer, wellness events, social justice programming, game nights, movie nights and academic support events.

Nash Community

Residents living in the Nash Hall Community have access to many lounging and study areas that include two sundecks and 12 different lounges, some of which have ping pong, pool and foosball tables, a projector, and TVs. There is a computer lab in Nash 740 and a laundry room in Nash 02. Residents have opportunities to connect with their Hall community through hall council facilitated events, like karaoke nights, the annual Piccadilly dance, super bowl parties, international potluck, social justice programming, wellness events, game nights, movie nights and academic support events.

The SODA Community (The Ridge)

This SODA Community, made up of the Sigma, Omega, Delta and Alpha dorms, offers its many residents access to a total of 13 lounges throughout the SODA community, some of which include pool and foosball tables, TVs, quiet spaces, and a piano. There is a computer lab in the Ridgeway Commons 127, Laundry Rooms in Sigma 305B, Alpha 227, Delta 313, Omega 130 and vending machines near Alpha 225, Delta 324D and Omega 110 and 111. Residents can also attend community events set up by the hall council such as karaoke nights, the annual Piccadilly dance, super bowl parties, international potluck, social justice programming, wellness events, game nights, movie nights and academic support events.
