Located on the 5th Floor at the end of the corridor
A wonderful large meeting room with excellent mediation.
VU 565 A,B,C
Located on 5th floor in the corridor near the West elevators.
VU 565 is a multi-use room with an excellent view of Bellingham Bay. A dividable space that can host events up to 100+ attendees, this is an empty room that can be set up to suit your event needs.
VU 552
Located on the 5th floor in the Post Office Lobby.
Used in both academic instruction (M-F 8am-4pm) and student activities, this room is excellent for video presentations, guest speakers and movie watching.
VU 464
Located on the 4th floor and at the end of the corridor
An excellent medium multi-purpose room that is especially suited to activities centered around physical activities, yoga, dancing, etc.
VU 462B
Located on 4th floor in the corridor near the West elevators.
Medium sized room that can host a wide array of gatherings that also can be combined with VU 462A to create a much larger gathering space.
VU 462A
Located on 4th floor in the corridor near the West elevators.
Excellent room for medium-sized events and can notably be combined with VU 462B to create a much larger space for bigger events
VU 460
Located on 4th floor in the corridor near the West elevators.
Perfect space for smaller business meetings and smaller club gatherings
Underground Coffee House
Located on the 3rd Floor of the Viking Union.
Nestled in the third floor of the Viking Union, the Underground Coffeehouse is a favorite spot for coffee, community, and comfy couches. We host free events for students and community members on weeknights, including specialty programs on Monday (trivia nights, jazz jam sessions, karaoke, and more); open mic on Tuesday; the concert series on Wednesday; and AS club sponsored events on Thursday.
MPR Multi-Purpose Room
Located right in the front entrance lobby to the Viking Union.
This is the premier destination for large scale events on Western's campus!
MCC VU 757
7th floor in the Multicultural Center
Small meeting space for up to 6 people.
MCC VU 740
Ethnic Student Center space with 12 tablet desks. ESC, SAIRC, and MCC programs can check in with the ESC front desk to reserve this space. Best used for small to medium sized meetings and presentations.
MCC VU 735 Multi-Use Room
7th floor in the Multicultural Center
This space is reservable for campus groups from 8am to noon. Configurable for a wide array events from dance classes to movie nights to presentations and large meetings!
Bill McDonald Lounge @ Lakewood

Lakewood is an excellent area for a variety of social events. It's a great getaway for the campus community to accommodate classes, social events, or business meetings.
