Western Art Gallery

The Western Art Gallery is an on campus art museum connected to the Fine Arts Building. Here, visitors can view permanent artist collections and six annual temporary exhibits, take guided tours and attend more than 40 annual events ranging from artist talks to symposia and performance festivals. In addition to these, the museum hosts contemporary dance performances, jazz, chamber music, and alternative music concerts.

This collection of art curated by the Western Art Gallery is spread throughout campus, including major work by distinguished contemporary American, European and Japanese sculptors of the late 20th century to the present. View a sculpture tour map for the locations for each sculpture.

Viking Union (VU) Gallery

The Viking Union Gallery is a student-curated exhibition space located on the 5th floor of the Viking Union. The gallery is sponsored by Western's Associated Student Productions and works to promote the artwork of Western's student and regional artists.
